INSPIRED COLLECTION: This candle inspired by Penny Dreadful. It is perfect for fans of Victorian-era supernatural stories, full of mystery, magic, danger, self reflection, and complicated relationships.

Since this candle is inspired by the beautiful, tragic cast of characters in Penny Dreadful, I really wanted to pay tribute to the demimonde, that liminal space within/around their polite society where all of our beloved characters carry out their lives. The spaces between spaces, the dark shadows in the corners, the lights within their hearts that ache to shine bright despite what their society tells them is acceptable. This 6-ounce soy wax candle has a cotton wick and is topped with a hand-picked combination of items that enhance the meaning and intention of this candle:

• Rue for protection from evil

• Cassia chips for protecting one’s home

• Pomegranate flowers for divination

• Pine cones for enlightenment

• Thyme sprigs for psychic protection

Each candle is lovingly poured, labeled, and adorned by hand. All herbs, flowers, and crystals used as candle adornments are organic and are sourced from local and/or indie sources whenever possible. Every candle is made with clean-burning soy wax and eco-friendly wicks.
