Book Review: Moon Magic by Aurora Kane
The Book: Moon Magic: A Handbook of Lunar Cycles, Lore, and Mystical Energies by Aurora Kane
Source: I bought this book because it looked cool
My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (see my review on Goodreads)
I don't remember where I picked this up or why, but I'm really glad I found it. Moon Magic was the first witchy book I had picked up in a long time, and it was just what I needed at the time. More and more I am discovering that my flavor of witchcraft is very much connected to the Moon. This book was a lovely introduction to the moon, the lunar cycle, and each full moon throughout the twelve months of the year. This book has helped me to incorporate an intention setting and journaling practice that I have been doing throughout each lunar cycle for the past year, with journaling prompts during all the significant phases of the cycle (new moon, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, last quarter, waning crescent, and back to new moon again). It encouraged my curiosity about lunar witchcraft and helped me to build a strong foundation in lunar knowledge that I use throughout my life daily. I highly recommend Moon Magic to anyone who wants to learn more about the moon and how to connect with lunar magic in their spiritual practice.
